The benefits of digital restoration include:

First, the artifact or file is copied using our high-resolution scanning system. The original is then placed into archival storage to prevent any additional damage that may occur from exposure to light or air.
Second, the digital copy undergoes the process of restoration using the latest technology:
- The contrast and brightness are adjusted to restore the original quality
- Using close magnification, the image is inspected to reveal the tiniest scratches, tears, splotches, etc.
Third, any damaged parts are “retouched” using the latest and most precise techniques.
Finally, after all, signs of damage have been eliminated, the image is resized and cropped according to the customer’s specification, and additional treatments such as colorization and text are applied.
